Login with Duo

UIndyIT has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Duo on all UIndy systems that use the UIndy Login page.

Note:  You are automatically enrolled in Duo when you Claim your UIndy Account. If you already have a UIndy account, but have not logged in for over 6 months, follow the steps listed on Duo Device Registration. If you have issues activating Duo Mobile please open an IT Help Desk ticket.

Lack of cellular coverage

A common concern relates to cellular coverage, specifically in basements. You have two options to try:

  1. Use the Duo Mobile app to receive Duo Push, which works over WiFi and cellular data networks. No text messages are necessary!
  2. Update your phone's WiFi calling settings to make sure SMS messages are using WiFi and not cellular.
