Connect to the UIndy wired network
Devices must be registered in order to access the University wired or wireless network. These instructions explain how to connect to the wired network. See Manage personal devices on the UIndy network for more details.
You may want to look up the MAC address of the device prior to coming to this page.
- When on campus, connect your computer to the wired network with an Ethernet cable.
- On most devices, a browser window will automatically open. If it doesn't, navigate to https://mydevices.uindy.edu/.
- Select your login experience. Click the Students and Employees button or the Guests button.

- Enter your
UIndy email
andpassword
. - Check the box next to I accept the terms of use.
- Click the LOG IN button.

- Enter in the
MAC address
of the device you wish to register. - Enter the
Device Name
. - Optionally, you can enter notes about this device.
- Check the box next to I am the sponsor of this account and accept the terms of use.
- Click the Create button.

- You will see UIndy Device Registration Receipt once the device has been successfully created.

Please remove devices you no longer use from the UIndy network by following these steps.
- Navigate to https://mydevices.uindy.edu/status from any computer, phone, or other device registered on the UIndy network.
- Enter your
UIndy username
andpassword.
- Click the Log in button.

- Click on Manage Devices link.

- Click on the device you wish to unregister, a new bar below that device will appear. Click the Remove button.

- Remove Account form will appear. Make sure the radio button next to Disable account is marked.
- Click the Make Changes button.

- You may need to click the Refresh button.
- You will still be able to see your unregistered device listed with a red minus button. Any active devices are listed with a green check mark in front of it.

- Navigate to https://mydevices.uindy.edu/.
- Enter your
UIndy username
andpassword.
- Click the Log in button.

- Click on Manage Devices link.
