Project to a flat panel
Several classroom and meeting spaces are equipped with flat panels that are able to display the screen of a device to aid with presentations. The following article is designed to guide users through the process of connecting to a flat panel.
Connect
- Connect laptop through wireless presentation, if enabled, or with HDMI cable. Depending on the laptop make and model, an adapter may be needed. HDMI cables and Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters are provided. Newer Mac laptops require a USB-C to HDMI adapter which are not provided in classrooms.
- Select the input for the connection you have chosen to use by identifying to which port your cable is connected (via the room's control panel or the back of the flat panel).
