Remove "FISC" email addresses from Google Contacts

Due to a previous system update, temporary email addresses (e.g. [email protected]) were created for some UIndy email accounts.  We resolved this issue, but the temporary addresses caused the "fisc" emails to be saved in Google Contacts for individuals who have "Create contacts for auto-complete" selected in their email account Settings:

To remove the "fisc" email addresses from your Google Contacts:

  1. Navigate to Google Contacts.
  2. In the Search bar, enter fisc.
  3. From the resulting list, click on the "fisc" email address you want to remove.
  4. Once the contact record opens, you can either:
    • Delete the Contact (click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the record; click Delete) OR
    • Click Edit and update the "fisc" email address with the correct email address and Save.  If you have a duplicate Contact, you can then delete one of them.

Please note: When you Search Contacts for "fisc", some emails may show up that are valid email addresses (e.g. someone with the name "fischer" in their email address).
