Purchase technology with departmental funds

There are a number of technology items that may be purchased with department funds without submitting a request to UIndyIT. UIndyIT may be able to assist with purchasing some items at discounted rates.

*Digital Signage - displays, located in public or semi-public spaces, that provide targeted information or advertisement of University programs, events, and content.

**Technology-Enabled Spaces - permanently installed projection, audio-visual, and computing tools and devices used to enhance teaching and learning experiences or meetings.

UIndyIT recognizes that the specific needs of a department in technology-enabled spaces may require flexibility in purchasing and support that are outside of IT’s normal procedures.  To facilitate these differences, see the "For more information..." section below for next steps.

Submit a service/help request. Go to works.uindy.edu and search for: purchase.  Select the service related to the technology you'd like to purchase (e.g. AV equipment, computer, printer).
