You can edit your My UIndy profile picture, cover image, and personal information. My UIndy account-holders can add additional information to be shown in their record by updating their My UIndy Profile. The additional information includes but is not limited to: a cover photo, previous education experience, hometown, work experience, languages spoken, hobbies, and skills. Any edits made to the My UIndy Profile will only be visible within My UIndy to UIndy account holders.
The following information about each individual is shared in the My UIndy Directory:
- Preferred first name (as set in UIndy Self-Service Profile)
- Last name
- UIndy email address
- Photo, if available
The following information about employees, if available, is also shown by default:
- Phone number (editable in UIndy Self-Service)
- Office building and room
- Job title
- Department
Update your My UIndy Directory profile
- Click or press on your photo icon in the top right corner of My UIndy.
- Select View Profile.
- Click or press the Edit Profile button.
- Update your directory photo and/or additional information in your profile.
Update your My UIndy photo
After following the Update your My UIndy Directory profile directions, you may choose to update your My UIndy profile photo.
- Click or press the Update Image link superimposed over your photo.
- Select an image from your computer or mobile device to replace your current photo. Then click or press the Save button.
Update your My UIndy profile
After following the Update your My UIndy profile directions, you may choose to add additional information to your profile.
- Type in any section to provide more information about yourself. Some notes:
- The About Me section to tell My UIndy users a little bit about yourself. You can add plain text and provide social media or website links.
- Languages, Hobbies, and Skills section will populate a list of options as you type. You may not add options that are not in the pre-defined lists.
- Click or Press the Save Changes button.
