- Login to a lab computer with
your UIndy username(do not include @uindy.edu) andpassword. You may reset your password at accounts.uindy.edu, if needed. - Open Google Chrome and navigate to my.uindy.edu
- In the search bar enter placement exam.
- Click on the Placement Exams link.
- Click on the start the Math placement assessment button.
The Respondus LockDown browser is already installed on all campus computer lab machines.
- You will be brought to an ALEKS page. Select the UIndy Math Placement Cohort.
- Click the Get Started button to begin the assessment.
- Since Respondus LockDown Browser is already installed on campus computers labs machines, click the Launch LockDown Browser+Webcam button.
- Click the Open LockDown Browser OEM button when prompted.
- If you receive an error that Lockdown cannot run while these apps are open, select the close application and continue option to proceed.
