New to UIndy (Employees & Associates)
We want to share our most helpful technology tips with you. Here are some important Tech Guides to review as you get started at UIndy:
Your UIndy account

Claim your UIndy account to gain access to UIndy systems including but not limited to: Google Workspace, Brightspace, My UIndy, UIndy Self-Service, campus print release stations, lab computers, Office 365, and online library services (after Human Resources has processed your employment paperwork).
- Reset your UIndy account password, if needed
- Losing access to your UIndy account, to better understand how your account works if you choose to leave.
Secure your UIndy account
- UIndy uses Duo for multi-factor authentication (MFA) for most UIndy systems. You are automatically enrolled in Duo after you claim your account. See Duo tips and tricks to get the most out of Duo.
- Store sensitive information in Google shared drives and modify those access levels, if needed.

Your computer & phone
All full-time positions at the university are eligible for a new computer and phone number provided and maintained by UIndyIT.
Google Workspace
Google Workspace is UIndy’s productivity tool suite providing many options to interact seamlessly. Explore the Google Workspace Tech Guides:
